A Message from the President
As President of the Radiation Therapy Association of New York State, I have the honor of continuing the success of our new and vibrant organization. On the heels of a pandemic, we have established a vast network of radiation therapists across the state, offered continuing education opportunities including an in-person conference in collaboration with NYSSRS, and just recently held our second successful election welcoming our new Board of Directors to the helm. It is an exciting time to be in our profession in New York, and we have many goals ahead including, more opportunities for student support and involvement, advocacy for expanding the scope of practice of radiation therapists, and a line-up of events that meet the needs of our members. I am so proud of our ongoing work to meet our mission - to provide radiation therapy professionals with high-quality continuing education, leadership, networking, professional development, and legislative support while advocating for high-quality patient care and advancing the profession of Radiation Therapy. In any way that you can be involved, we look forward to having you grow with us in the years to come.
